Samaya (Werkhoven)

Samaya is a ‘very suitable place’ to keep a silent retreat. ‘Samaya is established in the ‘last’ ‘slot ‘convent that was built in the Netherlands. The building was given the name God’s Werkhof and was over 35 years long inhabited by the Augustinian nuns. A monastery was traditionally a place of silence and prayer, of study and meditation. The atmosphere of lightness is palpable throughout the building.
